What I Like About Being A Cursillista
A. You can’t be a Cursillista without making a Cursillo weekend and for some, that weekend was a most significant encounter with the Lord!
B. Cursillistas are members of a community of believers who can link up with other Cursillistas anytime and anywhere across the world and group in an instant.
C. Cursillistas in a permanent or Environmental Friendship group experience the essence and the ongoing benefit of the Movement– sharing knowledge of the Lord with like-minded brothers and sisters of the faith.
D. When the rough times of life come along, Cursillistas care enough to offer their support and friendship
E. If we truly believe we are to develop our authenticity as Christians, the Cursillo discipline of daily examining our Holiness, Formation and Evangelization are direct aids to that growth.
F. Cursillistas examine their religious beliefs and discover ever deeper meanings to this wonderful gift called Catholicism.
G. Cursillistas in the Diocese of Venice are particularly blessed because we have OLPH and its staff available to us.
H. Cursillistas almost always give an enthusiastic ‘YES’ to serving on Weekend Teams. They have a love of Cursillo and are anxious to share this faith-growing experience with others.
I. Some of the nicest people I know, and am proud to call my friends, are Cursillistas.
